New Tab Widgets v1.0 marks the official stable launch of the app. After months of beta development and refinement, v1.0 is the release we're confident putting in front of the world — a polished, reliable new tab dashboard with a growing library of useful widgets.

📅 Google Calendar Widget

Your schedule is now part of your dashboard. The Google Calendar widget connects to your Google account and displays your upcoming events so you never miss a meeting, deadline, or reminder.

📋 Copy to Clipboard Widget

One click to copy anything. The Copy to Clipboard widget stores a piece of text that you need to paste frequently — an email address, a code snippet, an account number, a boilerplate reply — and copies it to your clipboard with a single click.

Perfect for:

  • Frequently-used passwords or codes (local only, never transmitted)
  • Canned responses for support or sales
  • Code snippets you paste into terminals repeatedly
  • Any text you find yourself typing over and over

📄 Multiple Custom Dashboard Pages

You can now create multiple named dashboard pages and switch between them with a single click. Use different pages for different contexts:

  • Work — calendar, links, Gmail, RSS feeds
  • Personal — weather, Spotify, sticky notes, photos
  • Finance — TradingView, OzBargain, countdown to payday

Pages are fully independent — each has its own widget layout, background, and settings.

🌙 Free Dark Mode

Dark mode is now free for all users. Toggle between light and dark themes from the appearance settings, no subscription required.

Other improvements in v1.0

  • World Clock — optimized animation rendering and reduced CPU usage; the order of clock hands has been corrected
  • Responsive widget styles — Hue Scene and Sticky Note widgets now adapt their layout for narrow widget dimensions
  • Duplicate widget — duplicating a widget now correctly copies the widget's size along with its settings
  • Toast notifications — improved stacking, dismiss behaviour, and double-toast prevention
  • Copy to Clipboard settings — the settings panel for the new widget allows updating the stored text at any time
